Spring Break 2015

You are my hiker, and nature daughter.  You LOVE IT yo'sea likes it too but you both express it differently. We went on a quick hike up Little Cottonwood Canyon to a water fall (Lisa Falls). You were the one carrying our water. Because it doesn't phase to you carry heavy items while hiking and you were practically running up the trail with shouts of, "Oh it is so beautiful here!" "Everything is just so pretty!" "Mom, come look at this aww so pretty" You were the first one to touch the stream on the hike, and laughed and giggled as you crossed the water getting your feet wet.

You found this big huge flat rock that you call your stage and you danced around and made up songs about our beautiful hike. You found this cave and got all excited about bears and then when you saw it was too small for a bear you started pretending how it would be if we lived there. All the while reminding me when we got back in the car to go straight to a gas station because we were close to empty. You have this fear of running out of gas even t though that has never happened to us.

One we got to the water fall you were full of squeals of delight. Of course you were the first one in the pool at the bottom of the waterfall, even though the water was FREEZING literally freezing because it was straight run off of the snow.  You even put your HEAD in the water. You danced on the rocks near by with the waterfall mist getting you slightly wet. At one point you climbed up a near by rock and with both hands in the air yelled, "I"M ON TOP OF THE WORLD!!!"  cutest thing ever.

Then started dancing and twirling, which gave me a heart attack because you were on top of a rock and led down to a big cliff. But you were just so happy you couldn't contain yourself :)

You really do keep us on our feet, and so happy. you love pretending and you have so much emotion. if you are happy we all are happy, if you are excited we can't help but be excited also. :)  I love you so much :) I love seeing your face light up when we are out in nature.

Angel Baby

This morning I was awaken to sweet kisses and little hands opening my eye lids. I opened my eyes and smiled at you. You asked me 'Mom are you happy?" I nodded yes and  you smiled big and said, "You happy because you woke up with your baby giving Angel kisses" I couldn't help but hug you and give you some kisses back. You are so sweet, I can always count on you to be playing with your friends running around and run up to me kiss me and run off again playing. :)  You bring laughter and Joy into Yo'sea an I's life. I love you so much, you have an expression for each event in our life. You are also so fearless. you weren't scared to go to Preschool. You aren't scared to dance Fancy dance in front of people even if you are the only little one dancing. You aren't scared to correct people on the correct way to pronounce your name. You are a great example of believing in oneself . I really love you so much :)

Girly Tom Boy

You are so girly but you have just the right amount of TOm Boy to make me proud.  You are going through this really sweet lovable stage. YOu will come up and either hug me, or kiss me and say "Mom I just love you" then run off.  You are always moving, that is why you HATE your car seat. Most babies will eventually give in to the car seat. BUt not you. YOu are almost three and hate it.

YOu love to help me in the kitchen. You are all full of conversation when I;m stirring eggs or watching a stir-fry. You love to fix my hair. You can't really fix it yet, but you are constantly saying, "Mom, can I brush your hair? Want me to brush your hair?" While we are on the subject you have very strict rules about my hair. IT MUST BE DOWNl If I have it up in a bun or pony tail you will say
 "MOM take down your hair. It looks beautifujl down" if I don't listen you willl take down my hair for me. Then afterwards say, 'OH good Mom. You look beautiful"  Ha, ha

You are also my little tom boy, You run, jump play, Hulk SMASH me (hit my leg has hard as you can. It hurts!) You have decided you want a Go  DIego GO themed party. You want a Hulk Smash for your birthday and a PRINCE Barbie to dance with all the girl Barbies. You always do something to make us laugh. Yosea is constanly saying, "isn't my baby just cute" she's right you are just cute. Don't grow up stay how you are righ tnow for aleast a couple of years :) Il just love you!

April 15,2011-Dad night

you love your dad. Last night he came home late from school and you woke up . He went up to get you and you just looked at him squealed then laid down and cuddle him. Then you would look up and squeal with delight again, then cuddle again. It was so cute to see how excited you were that dad was home.  

You love animals we have been to the local hardware store and checked out the baby chicks,you love watching them.  Then we have a cat that visits us once a day, Yo'sea has named him, "Kitty Kat Romo" he is such a sweet cat. you will get so excited and grab and tug at him and he just lets you do it. You are getting better at being gentle lucky for the cat.  Then out of no were today a dog ran into the house. You were squealing with delight and he ran on over and licked you, The thing was he was all muddy and wet and he left you with mud and dog lick juice all over. But you didn't care you were just happy a dog came to visit us. 

your walking so good now. You have been walking for over a week now. You and Yo'sea both walked at 11months. I can't believe how fast you caught on, you don't even want to crawl anymore. when your walking you have this big smile, and you do this happy sound. It's the cutest thing, and you love to show off your skills when people come over.  Your also a tease,  you will pretend to walk to someone and then smile real big and turn around and come back to me. Besides Dad, Yo'sea and I Aunty Vee Vee, Callie and Masoni and Chee are your favorite people you get excited when you see them and you like to cuddle with all of them.  You wake up happy, and love your big sister. She can get you to laugh when ever she wants.

So it's official. Your first word is DAD. I would like to argue that is was MOM , because both you and Yo'sea when you started cooing you did more of a  Mamamamamamama sound. But It wasn't just for me. But now, when you were playing with Dad, you were saying, "Dad dad dad dad dad" I thought it was just a fluke, but when you were playing with me and he came in the room same thing. When we were at church and Dad got your attention, you smiled and said, "dad dad dad" Of course Dad is all excited, and you are the favorite at the moment. Your growing up so fast, we had to block off the kitchen so you would come in and get all messing, Dad put up a little gate. So now when i am in the kitchen cooking or cleaning I will look over and you will be standing at the gate just smiling HOPE WISHING I will come over and pick you up. Which I would love to do but also I need to get things done too.  

Dad dad dad isn't your only new thing. YOu are starting to tease too. You had a bottle and would give it to Dad to take a drink then when he was about ot take a drink you would giggle and take it away. You played that game for some time. It was sooo cute. Oh yeah, you love your sister. Yo'sea has this blanky with an elephant head on it.  She loves it and carries it all over. You  also like it because it makes a rattle sound so you are constantly trying to take it from her, which you end up doing more often then Yo'sea would like.  

You are an awesome eater. You love tiny bits of apple, cheese and vienna sausages. We get excited when I pull out your pureed veggies, and your bottle.  

For th emost part you don't cry. IF you are crying it is because you fell down while pulling  yourself up on something or your hungry.

You are a super fast crawler and you now like to pull yourself up on the furniture and are starting to get around that way. Every once in a while you will be standing in place with out holding on to anything, which is great until you realize your not holding on and then you fall or grab for something. :)   Anway your a joy and we love you.

P.S. You are a friendly bug. In church today you crawled over to different people in our area and pulled yourself up and smiled at them. Most of them picked you up and played with you  for a while then set you back down to smile at someone else. :) Cute baby@@
